The DigiTrust Group is currently seeking a Junior Security Engineer in its Los Angeles office. Junior Security Engineers will gain hands on experience and exposure by taking part in both internal and client-facing projects. Likely engagements include:

•Vulnerability Assessments: Work closely with our expert security consults to identify and rank the vulnerabilities in a computer system or network. Assist our engineers in compiling an exhaustive and articulate report, including mitigation recommendations and other solutions.
•Managed Security Services: Participate in the monitoring of clients’ desktops and servers and investigate security incidents as they arise in real-time.

Technical Knowledge

•Coursework in one of the following (C, C++, Perl, Java, C#, Ruby, Python)
•Computer Science or Computer Engineering Degree
•Understanding of TCP/IP
•Understanding of Routing and Switching
•Understanding of Active Directory
•Basic Linux Experience
•Knowledge of Attack Frameworks (Metasploit, etc)
•Familiarity with tools: nmap, metasploit, nessus, wireshark, tcpdump, snort
