BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

The DigiTrust Group is currently seeking a Business Development Manager in its Los Angeles office to build its sales capability and to support growth. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for conducting pre-sales research, creating a sales strategy, establishing and maintaining client and strategic third-party relationships and delivering consistently exceptional sales results. The Business Development Manager will report directly to the firm's President.


In recognition of the impact this individual will have on the organization’s future, a compensation package exists which includes a competitive base salary and sales commission.


Responsibilities


•Sales Planning: Conduct market research on clients and competitors, identify target customers, generate leads for potential sales and networking opportunities, develop delivery plans and manage pipeline
•Sales Delivery: Prospect clients, write formal proposals, deliver presentations, close deals and serve as client liaison during the initial delivery phases
•Client Relationship Management: Visit key clients and build and maintain relationships that are crucial to the success of the business
•Strategic Relationship Management: Create and maintain strategic relationships and alliances with other, third-party companies
•Business Planning: Maintain an eye on the industry and stay informed to enhance sales capability
•Concept and Brand Development: Provide input on brand marketing and development
•Communication and Database Maintenance: Maintain detailed client and networking database and keep peer and superior positions informed of challenges, successes, and failures
•Sales Activity Follow-Up: Follow up on completed engagement for business impacts, including win/loss/revenue tracking and use this information to create case studies on key engagements



Requirements


•Experience: Strong business development background, with proven success in establishing and expanding client relationships, and showing excellence in maximizing account potential
•General Technology Knowledge: Must exhibit an understanding of software development cycle, IT trends, technologies and architectures
•Communication Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Interpersonal Skills: Must possess excellent communications and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with peers, management and internal and external business partners, prospects and clients
•Key qualities: high energy, self-motivated, aggressive, strong entrepreneurial spirit, consummate team player, strong business acumen, ability to manage ambiguity and unstructured environments
•Education: Bachelors degree preferred, but not required
