XOOPS is a free content management system, written in PHP, for websites. It uses a modular architecture allowing users to customize, update and theme their websites. XOOPS is released under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL) and is free to use, modify and redistribute.

Cross-site Scripting Vulnerability:
Input passed via the URL to "register.php" in the "/modules/profile" directory isn't properly sanitized before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

Vendor Solution:
Fixed in SVN.
